My cat ate some garlic salt?
just a minute ago my cat was licking my plate from lunch..it had some left over garlic salt sprinkled on it and a bit of turkey. she licked the plate for a little then i realized and i moved her away...
im pretty sure she's gonna be fine, but i just wanted to check because i know garlic can be bad for cats. im not sure how much garlic is in garlic salt (if any) but i just wanted to be safe...
answer:
Onions and garlic are bad, but the interesting thing about garlic is that the toxic dose is usually more then your cat would want to eat in the way of garlic anyway.

She will be all right. But now you know she is lightning fast.
Garlic is part of the Allium family, which are all poisonous to cats.

While it is bad for them, it has to build up or be taken in a very large dose to do any damage. Sense your kitty didn't get very much and it was diluted by the salt she will be just fine!
