Is this normal for a cat in labor?
My cat is in the early stage of labor, I think. She has dried fluid around her kitty parts and has been nesting. What I am worried about is the fluid. Is it normal? Should it be all clear? How long from the time it came out should I wait for the first kitten? I was not home when she leaked but is has been 4 or 5 hours tops. Any helpful ideas? Thank you. I'm a little concerned.
answer:
thats normal. she is just going to nest somewhere that she feels comfortable, and once relaxed shell give birth, i wouldnt try and help her out unless she fully trusts you.
for instance, my cat insisted on giving birth in my bed, with me in it! no way jose!!!
SHE IS IN LABOR!!! CALL A VET!!!! CALL 9-1-1!!!!!!!! DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!! no lol jk... this is normal... it looks like she REALY is going into labor... that water liquid.... IS WATER! the cats water broke... i think you need to call a vet...

Just leave her alone, if you mess with her it can take twice as long to deliver her kittens. Once they;re weaned get her spayed.
