Should i get a love bird?
hey i finally convinced my mother to get me a bird ....we don't want a bird that will be very LOUD ..i know all birds can get noisy but do you think i should get a love bird or a budgie .... are budgies less work or are love birds ! PLEASE help give me all your info thank you!
answer: i would look into lineolated parakeets. really a lovebird or a budgie will work. but lovebirds can make a very high pitch scream when they want to. both (or all three) are the same size and same amount of work. oh adn also look into cockatiels. they are one of the best birds ever! especially fro a beginner! but they are a bit bigger to the only difference is that they will need a bigger cage!

We have five parrots including a love bird. the love bird can make a little noise at times when it wants something. I wouldn't call it overly loud. Cockatiels tend to be messy and can make whistling noises that can be loud too. Budgies are ok, but not as personable and fun as a love bird. And you DON'T have to have two of them as long as you give it plenty of attention. Love birds are the BEST cuddlers ( right now mine is hiding in my shirt as I'm typing here.) So I say, go with the love bird and you WON't be disappointed.

a budgie is most of the time quiet but it will chirp and its not that loud
so i would get a budgie :)
i own a lovebird and it sqawks 5 in the morning -.-
also budgies and pretty much easy to clean up and if you want to you could get a little friend with it so it wont get lonely :)
