im nannying right now and its super windy and i just saw this baby bird fall out of his nest. I went over to see if he was ok and the wind blew and he blew over sideways where my hand was resting (i was squating down to look at him) now im afraid his mother wont come get him. Hes a little bigger than my fist but hes not moving and doesnt have all his feathers.if i caused his mother to not come back ill do whatever to make sure he lives! Help i feel awful!!

call animal control. or ask your local pet shop for help. if hes that big....i dont think the parents will be able to get him back into the nest. put him in the nest of you can. b.c its very dangerous for him to be on the floor. if you cant get to the nest, keep him warm and take him to a pet store or an animal shelter. best of luck =)

if you left the bird where it fell the parents will come back and feed it.
please leave it alone as this will be its best chance of survival.
