16 week old African grey?
just got a hand reared 16 week old Congo African grey yesterday I was just wondering if I should leave him in the cage for a couple of days then bring him out Iv had him sat on my hand and let me stroke him. answers much appreciated :)
answer: Because he is stepping up onto your hair, this shows he already trusts you and knows that your hand isnt going to hurt him. But this doesnt mean he will be like this with you outside of the cage. So yeah it would be best to leave him in for 3/4 days, while you are getting to know eachother more. When you do decide to let him out for a wander, just open the cage door and let him climb out himself. He might get scared and frightened if you take him out of his cage yourself. Hope I helped. Oh and about the biting, when he bites, just put him back down and say no. Turn your back on him. I know this may sound mean but it works! Do this everytime he bites you, and he will learn that when he bites he gets no attention. Good luck
If he's calm and quiet, bring him out of the cage and spend time with him. Greys are easily alarmed by novel items and situations, so use the bird's behavior as a guide.

Greys are incredibly intelligent, as you know- and need a lot to do. Spending time with you is a good thing. Enjoy!
