Not a sun conure, those little buggers will bug the hell out of you 24/7, regardless of personality.

Getting a bird is really exciting but frusterating. First of all if this is your first bird DO NOT GET A PARROT. Parrots are not for first time bird owners. While taming them you wont get past the bite. haha. But some really good beginning birds are mainly cockatiels, budgies, love birds, and parakeets. I have cockatiels and i love them they bring alot of life into my house with their beautiful vocals. But if u get any of these birds be ready for the responsibility and time you put into them. p.s. Get the biggest cage you can afford. A standard cage at petco is what i have for my tiels..
