Where should I buy them from, and also should I get another parrot for him/her?

umm... we dont know were you live and what stores are in your town/city

at any local pet store, but I'm sure if you buy your parrot at a flea market (yes, weird haha) they should be much cheaper there.

I've bought my Quaker parrot at a flea market and he is great!

you could always go from a big brand name company like petsmart or petco, or do what i did and search on Craigslist until you find someone trying to get rid of/ sell one. They are usually a lower price and already handled more than a department store pet is, (depending on the store and the owner of course).

You are in my area. You need to go to the Dallas Bird club or society, or what ever they call it now. There are breeders there. You can look them up online and probably email or contact them by phone. There are bird shows you can go to here also. Try Craigslist and when I was looking for my dove I found a site called "BirdsnWays" exotic bird breeders by state. That looked like a good site. I would not go to Trader's Village or any place like that. The bird clubs are your best bet. Also, go to Kookaburra pets. She's been in business many years and is really good.
