i have two lovebirds one is blue and the other one is yellow the blue one
had 4 eggs how do i know if there fertil? because she goes in the nestbox then
out.and sometimes she likes to eat the nestbox.and how many eggs can she lay?
Hold one of the eggs up to a light. If you see veins then it's fertile. They will act as though the eggs are fertile regardless , especially if they are young and inexperienced. They can lay up to 5, but you never know. You can't tell fertility until the egg is old enough either. Why not just wait and see. I know, stupid question. I never could until there were too many to "candle".
