i have a 65w floodlight ... would this produce enough heat for the ducklings?
or what is a good light that i can use that i can buy from walmart??

You want more of a heat lamp - like someone would use for a reptile, but not too hot. You don't want a flood light that will blind the birds. Try placing your light at a safe distance where it won 't cause metal to get hot and burn them, and make sure they have a towel that will help insulate. Use your hand to judge if the heat from a bulb will be too much.
