she's been doing this for a few days. I thought she might be laying eggs so I put a nest box in their cage but she won't go near it.
Well maybe because she is bored. Play with her with a toy or a get a bug for her to chase around. Also depenging on where you live, she's probably sensing that other birds like her same specie are migrating and that she wants to go too ... help save the planet!
It seems like she's taking a bath or playing. Fill your sink up with a half inch if water to make a bird bath and see what she does. Alot of birds love water and should be given bath opportunities weekly
could also be her way of taking a bath. get a spray bottle and mist her.
