I saw a documentary that featured a lyrebird and it can imitate almost any sound it hears perfectly. For example, camera shutters, chainsaws, car alarms, etc. And it is truly amazing. So I was wondering can it mimic the human voice?
Yes, a lyrebird can mimic human speech. Males are better at mimicking sounds than females.
