Nearly everything I eat my parrot eats, lol. I let them sip water from a cup, and sample a tiny bit of Ice Cream. XD TINY BIT. Sometimes my mom takes them with her when she picks me up at school, and I walk around school them with me. I basically take them everywhere they can go. They love playing with just about anything. Oh my birds seem to love eating my homework! Mine also love sleeping in my blanket, and my shirt, lol it's soooo warm! I sing to them and rock out to tunes with them. I watch movies with my bird buddies and bring them with me to sleepovers (My friends love them too) If I don't give them love, they try to find me and climb on me. It tickles! They roll over on their back and give me the cutest look, and LOVE kisses! I let them stay by the window and look outside. When I'm doing my homework, they stay on my knee or desk. Every morning, when my birds and I shared the same room, my Sunny boy-ya would somehow walk all the way to my bed from his LOCKED cage just to wake me up! Such a silly boy. Sometimes I have to wonder why he ain ' t human, he acts like it! XD You could make up games to play with your parrot, since he's young.

For example "Find the treat" Every person does something different to show their luv! For the shoulder problem, it's not really a problem, my birds do the same thing, I tell them no, and keep them on my hand. Most of the time they go there to dump on me.>:/But that's MY bird. Silly fuzzy head. Maybe I gave ya some ideas?: P
I have 2 Sun Conures, 2 lovebirds, three parakeets, 2, and two ring neck parrots.I 've had birds ever since I was in 6th grade, and now I'm in 10th.: D YES I LOVE' EM to death! Bhaha! XD Oh and No problem! I'm glad I helped . Now off to "love-bug" Sunny ~ <3

My sun conure likes to shred magazines. She likes to look outside the window and spot airplanes. So you could look out the window together and point out things together that you see. She also likes to play tickle belly. You just tickle the belly while the bird is on its back. When I do this my conure rolls over and wants more. She also likes to look in the closet while I make scary spooky noises. You should potty train him. Teach him to come to you by offering a treat and say his name. Mine of course loves music. All kinds of music. She has toddler tunes on quite a bit. She loves it while I sing to her, even if its bad. She also has little balls that she will throw down off of her cage and I pick them up and she throws them again. She enjoys breakfast at the table and getting orange juice. Everyday is an adventure. As for being on the shoulder it should be ok. Try potty training though. Mine sits on the shoulder and on my knee.
