I decided to take my cockatiel outside and he just flew off my shoulder and didn't fly away since his wings are clipped but when he hit the floor a cat came out of nowhere and pounced him. I scared the cat away almost instantly and I thought he was just stressed from the attack but i noticed an hour later that there is a gash under his throat almost by the stomach area but it's not bleeding like crazy it's just there. He looks stressed and isn't chirping and is hardly moving around and I can't take him to a vet right now because it's sunday, will he make the night!? is he gonna be okay!?
I would suggest calling someone (vet) up right away and asking them what to do . Even if most places are closed, call an emergency center near you. Try: 248-348-1788. When you can, TAKE HIM TO THE VET. for now, keep him not under stress. Pet him, make sure he's eating and drinking, in a nice and calm area where he can relax. Best wishes to your bird!
I found a number and found a vet on a sunday he was in critical condition but he made it thank god! thanks guys

I hope he made it but there are vets open on the week end as well as emergency vet clinics. and id call this an emergency.
