Is it safe to put bird liquid vitamin meant to be put on see

I bought a vitamin supplement for my parrot. Turns out I bought one that specifically says in the instructions to put three drops onto a seed mix. I don't understand how my parrot will be getting the vitamins if he only eats what's inside the seed and the vitamin drops go onto the seed shells. I wanted to know whether it was safe to put this vitamin instead into the water? I almost did only bc I thought this vitamin was for the water but I guess I was mistaken.
A parrot will get some of the vitamins as he will be putting the seeds into his mouth to remove the insides.

Do you know for sure that he needs vitamins? If he eats healthy pellets and some fruits and veggies, he should get enough without them. I have heard that too much vitamins can be bad for their beaks. Maybe use only a few times a week . Why not check with your vet for the best advise. I have 5 birds & have never used vitamins and they have healthy vet checks.

Also if you do use either vitamins, make sure to either discard any uneaten food daily or change the water with the vitamins in daily (which should be done anyway). The vitamins spoil the food & water very fast.
