Yes, I have a parrot that speaks. He says' hi 'and' thank-you '. He also imitates the phone ringing since he's heard it alot. He says' I love you 'too. You basically just have to keep repeating the word over and over. You're going to have to be patient because it might take a while. It deppends on the bird too, not all birds talk, some are smart and learn, but some just chirp. Oh, and if your bird has a toungue it can speak so just keep trying. Try saying 'bye' everytime you leave the room. I did that and now whenever i open the door leaving the room, he says' bye '. Be patient though, thats the key. Don't give up easily.
