when I touch it. How do I stop this?

It really annoys me because she gets stuff stuck in her feathers and when I try to take it out, she jumps on my hand.
aww, that's cute. i *wish* my bird would do that!
I don't think you can. Like my dog won't stop licking me when I get too close.
Your bird is finger tame and she is showing you incredible bravery and affection by jumping up on your hand. You cannot stop her doing this unless you want to break your bond with her. To try to unstick the stuff in her feathers, let her bathe in a shallow dish or give her a shower with a warm water spritz bottle, she will clean herself. Enjoy her sitting on your finger, it took someone a long time to get her that tame.

Are you able to give "scratches" to your bird? If she tolerates it, maybe you could work on expanding the area you are allowed to scratch (one of my birds love scratches, and the other, that is a different story altogether) so that you can "assist" n grooming. I know it is hard, but they are pretty good usually about their own grooming. Interestingly, my bird that doesn't like scratches, loves showers and the other wants nothing to do with water. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
In the end, it is great to help, but better for her overall to do what is natural for her but I would be very happy with the fact she is so tame for you.
