my anaucana are well smarter then my silkies and hy-brids and i didn't realise that they can fly higher then my other chickens can i clip there wings or do i have to take them vets
Sure, if you wish. Clipping feathers I just fine as long as you don't clip do so low that the bird start to bleed. You will also need to clip more then four, and only clip one side. Here is some nice directions
http://www.backyardchickens.com/LC-wingc ... Clipping throws the bird of balance so it can't hop/fly quite as well. However, if the bird has the body muscle sometimes the result isn't as much as we want it to be.
