heyy, i've posted a question on this before but i've ad no right answers. BUT i caught it on tape this time.
I live in England, North Yorkshire and recently i have been woken up night after night by (which i presume to be) a bird of some sort.
I live in the suburbs with fairly busy road near.
Any ideas anyone?

Heres a video of the sound. You may have to turn your volume up a tad. It usually is closer to my house than it was tonight.
Sounds like a screech owl.
If you are in Yorkshire it is indeed an owl but not a screech owl, they are more common in the southern US I believe what you are hearing is a barn owl, a rare specie here in the states but a common one in England.
ummm ... I think it might be an indian ringnecked parakeet. Theyre quite noisy and theres A LOT in england;)
