How to care for a sick chicken?

We have some chickens that have been acting and looking different. We noticed a drop in egg production, and we wanted too know why.

some of the chickens show symtomes of: watery, bubbly eyes, repeated sneezing and coughing, runny noses, also one of the girls throws up, our rooster has white splotches on his comb. PLEASE IF YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS TELL US!!

Thanks So Much
We raised chickens for years, we don't have them anymore but I have dealt with many bird diseases. I believe I know what they have but I need more info. For a sure diagnosis.I think they have infectious coryza. It is a respiratory infection which causes exactly the symptoms you describe, runny nose, bubbly eyes etc. and can even give them diarrea. It is very contagious to them. They can get it by drinking and eating out of the same feeders . Have you purchased or brought in a new chicken lately or gone to a fair or bird sale? that is how mine caught it.They can also get it from wild birds scavenging in their feeders.Do you have starlings, sparrows etc. hanging around ? as for the spots on combs, we had a rooster get pox virus on his comb but the splotches looked more yellowish white and ended up spreading to all our birds. The only cure for pox is a preventative vaccine given BEFORE they get sick. The medicine of choice for coryza is an antibiotic and providing extra heat at night and soft foods.Your basically treating them as you would treat yourself with a cold.Lots of rest, easy to digest foods, medicine, warmth. The antibiotics I had luck with were aureomycin and tylan. In the end you may still end up losing some of the weaker ones.Don 't eat any of the eggs while medicating the birds.I hope all this helps, as long winded as it is.Chickens also need vitamins and need to be wormed twice a year.
I would isolate the sick ones as it is very contagious.Order some antibiotics online labeled for chickens or do what I would do and go to a local grain elevator or farm store and ask them what would work best for respiratory infection, then follow the label directions, usually it is added to water.
