Okay so I just got this new baby chicken and he KEEPS CHIRPING!!
i know he chirps when hes happy but i dnt know if he's hungry
whenever i feed him, he eats it, but i don't know if im over feeding him
HELP!!
1 off the baby chicken is a peep and all the chirping this tiny bird is looking for its mom or siblings (LOL LOL) other peeps this is what is called a locater call they do this till other peeps come around or the mom. since you only have 1 it will do this alot and for feeding the tiny bird place food into box/cage where you keep the bird have starter feed ALL the time and clean water as well the peep will eat what and how long it takes to fill up which will be very little since the tummy's are tiny tiny at 1st with growth they will eat more.Birds know when to stop eating so there is no over feeding going on ...
hopefully i will be getting baby chickens soon, but i have done lots of research on how to take care of them. you can not over feed a chicken. just make sure he always has plenty of food and water. im just curious, what kind of chick is it?
