my zebra finches layed eggs is their anything special i need i have a boy and a girl they have been sitting on the eggs for about 5 days now
If they are sitting on the eggs and not being aggressive. Leave it be, they 're doing what comes natural. I would suggest putting some fortified seed in for the mother that has calcium, or a block. She's going to be low on calcium and other vitamins, so you may want to do that for her.
Other then putting in a cuttle bone and a mineral block for the female finch, nope, there's nothing else you need to do for your finches.
