my bird got oiut of its cage and when i opend the my bedroom door it flew out and down the hallway and my cat started chasing it. it is breathing real hard loud and shaking. is it just just scared and will it be ok
It might just be scared, but that doesn't mean it's okay. Birds can die of fright because of how very fragile they are. I would recommend taking the cat elsewhere and catching the bird, if you have not yet done so. Then put it in its cage, making sure it has food and water, and cover the cage halfway or more so that the bird can rest. If it gets sick, call your vet.
make sure you put the bird away somewhere else and let it calm down. if it is used to you you might want to cuddle it for a while while it calms down
