this afternoon one of my cockatiel escaped from its cage there where no holes or any thing but there were cage doors that slide upwards.we have three cockatiels and our cage is in our backyard
on the foot path concrete and at the back there is dirt and weeds.
cage size is huge. i dont know what hapened maybe some thing came andtook it out of its cage or it escaped
someone plz tell me what could have happened and what can i try to find it

Sorry for hearing this.But if any time of bird free from the cage it never come back.If you see that he is sitting than please spread some favourite food of cockatiel and if he see than i think he will come, but i think chance is less for coming back.
If you can here him outside, stand out beside the cage and just keep calling him. Usually pet birds will stay around the area, idk how , but they know! If theres a fav treat he has, maybe put some of that out by the cage too, it might help. My cockatiel got out a couple months ago (never did get her back: '() and she stayed in our area of the neighbourhood squawking and screaming for about 3 and a half days before she disappeared. Im pretty sure she got carried of in the wind when she tried coming home. But I know lots of people have had success getting their birds back!
