how long after they are hatched can you tell the sex of the baby finches?
i know that the males have red beak
black band across his chest
chestnut flank with white spots
the feathers under his neck are like scales
and on the other hand the female lack these features but are beautiful in their own way!
at what age are you able to see these features?
You can start seeing the cheek patches and other markings on a zebra finch at about eight weeks of age.
