Odd lovebird behavior?

My lovebird is about 5 months old now and when i put him on my get he would come and snuggle my face with his beak and start clicking. He would also growl at some points. Then he starts to do a little dance (goes on my finger then off and repeats) and scratch his face. He also bobs his head up and down really fast.

Is this normal? XD what is he trying to tell me?: D

Im not 100% sure if hes a girl or a boy. Is this female or male behavior?: O
All of this sounds normal to me. The clicking, and dancing is just him having fun and showing you affection. Birds don 't growl lol, he is probably mimicking something he heard, or that is just his way of speaking. Parrots make plenty of different sounds/vocalizations. When a parrot is bobbing their head up and down in a pumping motion, it means they are about to regurgitate. This is when a bird mouth feeds their babies, or even their human companions! Another way of showing affection. As for male or female behavior, these behaviors can be seen in both sexes. A Dna test is the only for sure way in sexing your lovebird.
Sounds like normal lovebird behaviour to me. You can't really tell a female from a male, but usually a female is more aggressive and when a female bites paper, she stuffs the paper into her feathers .
