Well, they both fit my lifestyle ... and I've always awed at the scarlet. I know scarlet's tend to be nippy, but it depends on the bird and how you raise them, right? I just love them both, but
have always loved scarlet's (my friend who is 13 has 2). Would this be an OK choice? Please don't tell me greenwing's, because the local breeder doesn't sell them, and I would have to drive 4 hours, and they cost like $ 2,000 from that breeder.

I love your avatar picture lol it's so cute. I myself was thinking of getting a large parrot. They require alot of attention and care and what not, but it seems you got that covered saying that it would fit your life style . And yes it depends on the bird and how they are raised (but they may still nip).
You love and admire the Scarlet, (rather then the blue and gold), so yes this would be an ok choice. Just make sure to read more about them, and be prepared to be outlived lol:)
