Could my budgie have the congenital condition known as "hal

My female budgie is a yellow-based, light green, opaline. Her body feathers confuse me though. From a distance, you can see that the body feathers are light green. Up close, she has small splotches of blue.

This picture was taken the day I brought Malutka home on August 21, 2010. She was going through her first molt. The blue seems to be fading now, but you can still tell that it is there.

No she is not a halfsider at all. She hasnt got her full adult colouring yet and she was moulting.

Definitely a female not a male, Some people still dont get it about females having blue/white ceres.
First of all im pretty sure your budgie is a male because its cere (nostrils) is blue. And One of its parents could have been a half sider

or it could just be one its self.

hope this helped. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
