I just bought some lovebirds today, 4 to be exact. 2 male, 2 female. Can they stay in one cage? Will they be able to mate if so?? Thanks!
They can mate but being somewhat territorial and aggressive birds I would say keep any breeding pair in it's own cage. The females will fight and may kill any chicks of the other hen.
