can i leave my bird unattended while im at school? and does

i found a extremely tamed bird in my back yard 2 days ago. he or she is a rainbow lorikeet, maybe 1-2 or 3 years old im not sure, but he like us, he always wants attention, but i start school tomorow and i dont wanna leave him lol: P will he/she be okay with food and water for the 6/7 hours im out in my room with the fan on low and the windows open a bit? that was my question but i have another one aswell. - whenever he/she is out the cage he will fly over to anybody and nibble-bite pretty hard on the flabby parts of your hand, and he lets you play with him all over and i think he is having fun he makes little chirpy noises, he he having fun or does he want me to pi ** off even tho he comes back for more? and he/she poohs in little wet sometimes green squirts, and any tips somebody can give me to make him not chirp so loud really early in the morning or is this natural??

thank-you:)
Ok, first question - he should be fine while you're out. Try to put his cage near the window so he can see out. And make sure the cage is bog enough for him to move about - a cramped bird is an unhappy bird.

Second question - when he is nibbling you he is being affectionate. It's kind of like he is preening you. And little chirpy noises are his way of communicating with you. Loud squawks mean he is not so happy.

Finally, most birds are pretty noisy in the morning. They like to say hello to a new day. If it's annoying you too much, try putting a blanket over the cage at night to keep the light out in the morning. If he thinks it is still night, he won't wake up and be all noisy.

Hope this helps!

Have fun with your new friend!
