Why does my bird close his eyes?

when I whistle at him? Is he enjoying my whistling or is he closing them because it's so loud in his ears? He's a parakeet if that helps.
This is normal. This indicates that your budgie is feeling content and relaxed with you . Sometimes when a bird is spending time with you, they will close one or both eyes. It just means he is feeling very calm and comfortable with you. Cute isn't it?:)
your budgie definatly enjoys your whistling. he finds your whistling tune catchy and calming ...!!!! (if it's a calming tune, might help him to take a nap)
Most birds find that whistling is very calming. Sounds like he is just relaxing. Good Luck
sounds like he is enjoying your whistling.
