Of course there legal. That is only if their store bought, you can buy a parrot from your local pet store, but they cause a lot of work. More research and thinking will do to know if you want this type of pet.
No! I live in Pennsylvania and I have a parrot. My township however does have regulations that we are only allowed to have 2 parrots in the house. We bought our parrot at the local pet store. They didn't have any blue and gold macaws like we wanted but they found another store that we could go to and pick ours out! Good luck they are alot of work!
They are illegal in texas due to quaker act . I think.
