Hi, i have a metal bird bath for wild birds. The coating that was originally on is starting to wear off and slight rust is coming through. Is rust harmless for wild birds? & If so what type of paint can i use to coat the bath? I'm in the UK so i would appreciate UK product suggestions ..... thanks:)
Yes rust is harmful to birds. You might be safer to get a ceramic bird bath.They 're ow maintenance & a lot safer for them.
