Any special food to give to parakeets when pregnant?

Budgies do not get 'pregnant'. The egg takes two days to form, they don't carry all of the eggs at the same time. Budgies do get a swollen vent a few days before laying. If your budgie is about to lay, she should already have a varied diet or fruits and veggies. Without these foods, budgies can suffer egg binding or other egg laying issues, which can be fatal. Budgies mostly don't lay without a nest box, so if you don't have one in the cage, and your budgie has a swollen vent, get it to a vet. It could be a tumour or internal laying.
Whole grain bread, just lay a slice on the cage floor, boiled egg sliced in half & ; okay to leave shell on, fruit/veggies, lettuce (romaine) or kale. Make sure birds are eating cuttlebone. Remove uneaten soft foods and replace w fresh daily.

Mammals get pregnant, birds lay eggs.

You should feed your parakeet sprouted seed and make sure she has cuttlefish bone if you plan on breeding from her.
If you can, EMP (egg food) when the eggs are hatched.

But normal food will do just fine with the pregnant budgie.

Hope your budgies have lots of healthy budgies and hope you like my advice.

Steve.
A pregnant woman need not feed her parakeets any special food due to her pregnancy.

Thanks for the points.
If you are pregnant wash your hands after touching the bird, otherwise just feed it its normal food
When who's pregnant? Parakeets lay eggs like every other bird!
Egg biscuits they are good for budgies whilst pregnant.
Cheese, custard and gravy sandwiches.
