He is 7 months old. Does not like fruits and veggies or herbs yet. I hide them in birdie breads. I cut them in tiny pieces. I am at my wits end trying everything. I try to feed mostly pellets. It's a fight. His droppings are a white with a spot of black and not runny. Is there anything wrong. I got really concerned when the eye burning ammonia smell started about a month or 2 ago.
I would have your cockatiel dropping check out for possible parasites by an avian vet.

http://www.acstiels.com/Articles/Health/... I would have a sample checked by an experienced avian vet. Parasites such as giardia are common in cockatiels.
It's good that he's eating mostly pellets. They aren't big fruit eaters but like grainy things such as whole wheat toast, cheerios, and the birdie bread is excellent. A tiny bit of seed daily is fine too. Dark greens can be offered for nibbling.
