hi i heard that their was a myth that you place your necklace under the bird and if its a girl it goes some awkward movement or what ever well i did it and the parrot ripped the pendant the pendant has sharp edges it is the size of a bean i want to know if my parrot will survive and if this helps the parrot is a quaker and she is 6 months old
not good at all. Hope everything turns out fine if it manages to swallow it can manage to discard it but since there are sharp edges its a diffrent story. Good Luck.
Take your bird to avian vet as soon as possible. As there is a risk of the pendant tearing the crop or other organs also the bird can get heavy metal toxicty. As the pendant could have lead, or zinc or other trace metals in it. This conditon can become fatal fast.
First off, not to be rude, but why did you try this? Why not just take your bird to the vet ? You should take your bird to the vet anyway, that pendant could really mess up your birds internal organs.
I think that you should bring him/her to the vet.
