so, lemonade and bella. i keep telling my sister her bird, bella, is a boy. well anyways, when i take tham out of their cages, the hang out by each other and''kiss''and groom each other. they make these cute like chirping/clicking noises. what are they doing?
this is called preening, they are taking care of each other by cleaning each other. The "kissing" is actually the birds throw up their food in the others mouth. Its what they do. Don't worry.
So Lemonade is a girl and Bella is a boy? What is the color of their ceres? If Lemonade's is a dark crusty brown and Bella's is a deep pretty blue, then you have a pair of Budgies ready to breed. I would suggest keeping them in seperate cages because you MUST do your research before having a clutch of little eggs.
