my lovebird died on his eggs for an unknown reason but the female is still alive and sits will eggs hatch and survive why did he died on them .....
The only to find why your lovebird died while on the eggs, would be to take the body to an avian vet to have it be examined. Hopefully, its nothing that could pass onto the babies if any of the eggs are fertile.
As far as for the eggs hatching, it depends on how long the gap was between the time of the male death and the time the female took over to sit on them. If the time was over 30 minutes that neither of the birds were sitting on the eggs to keep them warm, then the babies might be dead already. Only time will tell if the eggs hatch or not. I do hope that the eggs do hatch.

i don't know why the male died maybe it just happened to die there. Maybe the lovebird wants to protect the eggs by laying the body over it.
