i have two budgie chicks, how can i differentiate them as male or female.
as far as i have noticed one has very dark pink nose and the other has slight whitish with a very little shade of blue, they are hardly 7weeks old.
males are blue
From what it sounds like, I think you have a female and a male.
MALE:
Before 3 months of age a male's cere will be Hot Pink, and then after 3 months of age it will turn blue.
FEMALE:
A females cere will be white, then turn brown after three months of age.
