i have two baby love birds and one is smiler then the other and one is more active then the other one is a runt the mother is not teaching it how to do thing for its self like she is the other one. what do i do and when do i take them out of the mothers cage she is not feeding one baby.
Usually the lovebirds hatch out over a period of time. Therefore, the last one hatched is going to be smaller than the first one. You don ' t say how old they are. I pulled my babies two weeks after they hatched out and had feed them. After awhile they all weigh the same. They have an excellent formula called Exact that you can use along with a syringe (no needel). You really do need to study up on hand feeding. You might ask your vet and see what they say. Good Luck
