ok i got this bird a few months ago still not tamed .... he would step up only if i had spray millet if hes hungry and his toys like mirror and his fav bell .... but i wanted a more affectionate burd so is it okay to get him a friend which is from a breeder baby ????? or will the new bird get wild again if hes with my burd? My current bird also bites so yea ... but he can talk abit:) he stays in my room so i have alot of time for the birds if that helps ....
It sounds like you're pushing him to much & he is reacting badly to it. Birds don't like that. You need to earn the birds trust, be patient & take the time your bird needs to trust you. Trying to make them do things will just make them worse.

Take a step back & start from scratch again. Work at your birds pace, not yours & it will give you better results. Don't expect miracles from the bird within days. You will only set yourself up for major disappointment. Some birds only take a few days to learn things & start to trust you, others can takes to months. Do some googling on training as well. There is a very good website that you should read up on about training your bird.

She is the best there is in training parrots.

If you get him another bird it is possible to lose both birds. They may bond a close friendship & will not become interested in you at all. That will make training extremely difficult & sometimes impossible. You also have the risk of them not getting along at all. If this happens what are you going to do? You need a plan B for that because not all birds get along together & you can't tell who will & who won't until you have the 2 birds together for the first time.

If you really want to train your bird properly then go to that site I mentioned & read it.
