My parrot did something weird?

My White Front Amazon is a bad biter. I've tried every kind of tip you can imagine, but the parrot stubbornly will not stop biting. She has a stick, because when I've tried to have her step up onto my hand, yes, using all the instructions on 'teaching your bird her first trick, stepping up!', She bit me (long time ago.) So I got her a little portable manzaneta stick to fly her (exercising her, she had her wings clipped , so she just flaps her wings on the stick) as I stick it into the cage to get her to step up onto it, as usual, she lunges for it and chews it aggressively. So I take the stick forward and backward, forward and backward, in an attempt to cool her off. Then she does the unexpected. She bobs her head up and down a lot, as if copying the stick's movement, and clicks her beak. This surprised me enough to turn to Yahoo Answers. What has gotten into this bird, and is there any way I can stop her biting? No links please!
my cousin had the same problem so she went out and bought a tape with parrott calls and she put it on evreyday and then the parrott stopped bting if that dosent work you might want to try feeding her more often and if that dosent work i would reccomend taking her somewhere that they can help work with you!
