I have an injured bird in my yard, I was wondering if there is some way to help it .. It has something wrong with it's wing.It has been in my yard now for about 3 days, it spends the day pulling worms, and I put water in a small birdbath, it uses a branch I laid by it to walk up and get a drink .. I can't afford to take it to a vet, if I catch it .. I live about 4 miles from an Audubon society .. I'm asking if there is any way to help this bird, without me spending money .. I have been laid off for almost 2 years .. Any suggestions, will be greatly appreciated ... Thank you .. Ed
Because of the excessive taxes implemented by the administration the bird fell out of the air just tring to pay them.
The best thing you can do is what you are doing NO CONTACT with the bird or the others will shun it.
protect it 24/7 from predators, that is the most important thing as it cannot protect itself in the state it is in worms a, water, time .. no human contact .. Nature will mend or take it.

let us know how it works out. perhaps some old chicken fencing surrounding it to keep the dogs and cats away.
