Here is a site that should be helpful.

Our birds can eat almost anything we eat. Key word being "almost". So it's easier to remember what is toxic than to remember the long list of safe foods. They do need seeds but it should be a healthy mix and should only be about 20% of the entire diet. If you are in the US you should be able to find a good brand of pellets in almost any pet store. My Cockatiels like the LaFeber pellets with no colors added. Look for a seed mix that is safflower based and has no sunflower seeds. They are too high in fat to be a regular part of the diet. As for the fruits, veggies and leafy greens, it should be offered everyday. But don't be surprised if they don't like fruit. Many Tiels do not care for fruit of any kind. It's fine to try it and if there is any they will eat, that's great but they will not suffer without it so long as the rest of the diet is well balanced.
Sorry. I sometimes forget this site is picky how we insert link information. Try this.
