I was with my cockatiel and it was out of its cage hanging around and i was eating fruity snacks. I was trying to teach it a word, and it said it. I set down my fruity snacks on the table right next to its perch so i can grab a treat out of my pocket to bridge it. Then my cockatiel took one of my fruity snacks while i had my hand in my pocket. i tried to grab it so he wouldn't choke, but when i did he swallowed a small portion of it. I don't think he could choke, but I am wondering if the ingredients are safe.
if he only he eat a small portion, but if he eats a lot like maybe 10 or less pieces he could be sick but next time try ur best not to feed it to him, hope i helped: D
That is not a smart idea as candy has too much sugar for your bird. Instead, feed your bird something natural like a slice of apple, or a banana.
dont feed your cockatiel fruit snacks ...
