Were the birds hand reared? If not it will take a little longer, please be very patient with your bird offering your hand very slowly so it knows you are not going to hurt it, decide what is it's fave food and offer little tit bits as a bribe, slowly but surely it will come to trust you and will want to spend more and more time with you, It could take a few weeks even months but you will start to see some sort of improvment within a couple of days x You may find the link helpful too, good luck x
Seperate them. they wont have the interest to learn, they will just try to entertain the other parakeet. It takes 2-6 months depending on the surroundings. Your keet may be trying to interact with the chickadees outside or the bird in the mirror. To hand train them, put soothing music while changing its food bowls with slow movements. After a few days when the bird is fine with a human hand in their cage (not scrambling to the other corner), close your hand with one finger out and approach the bird slowly. the bird may be scared the first time but it will be used to the approaching hand . if it becomes uncomfortable or bites, eliminate your hand from the cage, close the door and try again in a few minutes. when it does not mind your hand, press it gently against its legs so it will lose balance and be forced to step onto your hand. keep your hand very still so u dont startle it. then move your hand back to the perch so it can go back onto it. Note: It can be very easy to do this because birds have to sit on hard wood every single day. your hand is soft, birds like the softness of the hand.
