I need to know what kinds of grit i should use for my cockatiel parrot. Also i need info on how often i should use that type and the pricing.
Healthy parrots and cockatiels do NOT need grit as part of their diet. In fact, this does more harm than good and causes health problems. Please refer to

In reality you do not need to use any grit at all. Feed a well balanced and healthy diet to your bird. If you choose to use grit they have cockatiel grit at pet store. Feed small amounts once week at most as they can get crop impaction from to much. Offer your bird c-bone and even boiled eggs with shells on crushed up as they love it.
The vet told me, no grit for parakeets and cockatiels. They can have crushed oyster shells and charcoal pellets, no regular grit. Cuttle bone and mineral block, OK. NO GRIT.
Your cockatiel does not need any grit. Just feed him his normal food hopefully bird pellets or a cockatiel seed mix, some fresh veggies, fruit and put a source of calcium in his cage (cuddle bones). He will be healthy and happy.
Parrots crack there seed and eat the in side. Other birds eat the whole seed. The reason parrots makes a mess when they eat is they crack the seed to get nut thats inside.
