I already know what he needs, but when Ive been looking up on the internet, it says he shouldnt be eating many foods. Now the place I baught him from give him a seed diet, made up of sun flower seeds, vegetables and dried fruit . Is this okay? I also give him apple, grapes, and cucumber which he likes. What are a few treats they enjoy and I can use for training? Anything else I should be doing? Thankyou
Your bird is being fed a good diet, but try feeding Sweet Corn Cob, Broccoli, Kale, Mango.Sprouting Seed.etc.
As for training find out which fruit or greens it likes and use this as a treat for training.
Seeds are a treat but can be potentially dangerous. Seeds should not be part of a regular diet. Seeds make birds very fat. My Indian Ringneck east about 3 grapes a day. The best parrot food is Zupreem.
For a Ringneck, get Zupreem for small birds. It is the healthiest choice of food and its bright colors attract birds. Ringnecks are in the top intelligent birds in the world so have a nice, long, happy life with it. Hope this helps and good luck!
Giving natural fruit and vigis is the best for birds, not as dried fruit!

All birds love apple but remove the apple seeds from it.
as a treat give it sunseeds, and also they love nuts.
I don't like mixed seeds, so I give my birds fruit and vigis all the time, and sunseeds as treats.
Pretty much any fruit or veggie is good for him-broccoli, cauliflower, berries, etc ... make sure he gets a good portion every day in addition to his seeds. I kept mine in a separate dish to make it easier to clean up.
