Catching Ringneck doves?

I started feeding the wild birds in my back yard about 4 months ago. After a couple of months a few Ringneck Doves began feeding also. I dont think S. MO. Is their natural habitat & I think they may have been turned loose.

Winters here can be very hard with bitter cold & heavy snows. Are Ringneck's hearty enough to take this type of weather all winter?

Is there a way to catch them so that I can house them through the winter?
I don't know what S. MO. Is. Doves are pretty hardy. You should check their legs to see if there are any bands on them. If there is, catch them with a blanket.

Ever hear of monk parakeets aka quakers? They are a tropical bird but they have made colonies in Brooklyn. I think these may just be wild doves.

If they have no bands, then let them be. Catching a wild animal could bring deadly diseases.
