My little lovie seems fine, but I was just wondering if your bird makes strange clicking noises day and night, hates water, or has an obsession with hair. Haha it's entertaining but am I the only one with a weird bird?
All of this behavior is perfectly normal. The clicking noises you may be describing may be your bird "grinding" his beak. Birds will do this when they are feeling calm and content. Birds mostly do this before going to bed at night.
A lot of birds take time to get used to water and don't like it for a long time! Some birds will prefer baths, and some prefer "showers". Try giving your bird a bowl of water (don't fill up the bowl too much) or spraying a mist of water above your bird but not directly on him. See if he starts to take an interest!
Hmm ... obsession with hair? Your bird is probably preening you. Birds preen each other in the wild (clean each others feathers) and they will also exhibit this behavior with their human companions if they have bonded with you. It's your birds way of showing you affection.
my lovebirds make clicking nosies but its fine and loves jewellery and they really healthy then don't like bathing in the water but still drink they should be fine
