My birds wing is bleeding?
its a parakeet, its wings were clipped a month ago at petsmart.. i dont know what to do! helpp !
Wrap your bird in a wash cloth or a small hand towel and pinpoint the bleeding. It is possibly a blood feather. Those are feathers coming in that are new with a blood supply to them. If you can plainly see that is what it is and feel comfortable pulling it out that will solve your problem.
If you don't want to do that, you can try cornstarch or flour on it to stop the bleeding. The main thing is he has only a very small amount of blood and every "drop" is almost like a pint to us. If you have anything to stop bleeding, use it.

You posted this 40 minutes ago, but I'll still give you my advice. Like the other person said, it is probably a blood feather. Birds are very bad blood clotters, they won't scab up they'll just keep bleeding. Stay calm and find where the blood feather is so you can pluck it out. You must pluck it out to really stop the blood.
you can buy things for pets when they bleed (feathers, clipping nails, etc...)

a good product is
Cimborn Rich Health KWIK STOP
the other answers are completley true and are probably easier to just pluck it out or put flour on it, but for the future you should find that product.
